Zach's Eggs

Zach is my older son, he's 7.  He helps raise our chickens, and we sell their eggs at the Ithaca Farmers' Market to a dedicated audience.  This is the sign he made.  Everyone wants to buy the sign...

Barn 1810

Here's a painting of our barn, while it was being taken down in its original location where it had stood since 1810.  The barn was resurrected on our land, and became the house that we currently live in.

Oil painting, 4' x 3'.

Willow

This is a mural in the kitchen of a private residence in Lansing.  It is 6' tall by 8' long, and placed above the client's stove.  There are several coats of varnish over it to protect it from any errant grease from the stove top!

Going to Market

This triptych was purchased by the City of Ithaca from the 2009 Art in the Heart of the City display.  The theme that year was "sustainability."  Each panel is 4' x 6'.  It is located near the Home Dairy alley on the Ithaca Commons.

The theme of the piece is buying locally.  The first panel shows the farmer's fields in early spring, with a biker in the distant background, along with a windmill.  In the second panel, the farmers are harvesting the fields with the biker in the middle ground.  The third panel shows the biker at the Ithaca Farmers' Market purchasing the local produce.  This mural is even more meaningful for this space since the first IFM was on the Commons.

Speaking of the Ithaca Farmers' Market, you can find me there many Saturdays in booth 85.
